Microfiltration
Effluent is produced with microfiltration membranes with pore size of ~0.05 microns.
Membranes are operated by monitoring pressure and flow, which prevents membrane fouling, frequent maintenance and optimizes energy usage.
From the membrane filtration unpotable water is lead to reverse osmosis and disinfection system to produce drinkable water.
